Fernando Levi Mahua
MAESTRO

"I was born here in Peru, in my native community. My father's name is Fernando, my mother's name is Yolanda. Mom has always been very knowledgeable about medicinal plants. She is a very good herbalist, and can make very strong infusions for any disease. But you should not be surprised, because Yolanda is the daughter of my grandfather Pascual, one of the strongest and most respected shamans that can be found in Peru. I also have a brother and two sisters who also have children of their own. I am married to Delsie, and we have two daughters - Fiorella and Emeli, and a son - José.

Our family is big. My grandfather Pascual gives me knowledge through our Family and is my Maestro. I proudly accept the knowledge and Power of Noya Rao. I remember as a child attending Grandpa Pascual's ceremonies, and learning the traditions of Noya Rao. And now, during the ceremony, I take my son Jose, so that he also learns from an early age.

At the age of 14, I began the serious path of the herbal diet at the initiative of my grandfather. I received the Power in order to share it with those who need it. Grandpa always said that I had a big heart and that I would help people. Now I have grown up and become a Maestro Curandero".

" I was born in Peru, in the village, where I live to this day. We are native Shipibo, my whole family lives here. My husband Fernando and I have three children, which makes me very happy. Family is the most valuable thing in our life. Within our family, I pass on ancestral knowledge to my daughters and my son, as I received it from my parents. Knowledge should not disappear, because it has so much value and such opportunities to help those in need of healing.

I decided to take the path of curandero seriously out of love for my husband, sharing his calling as my own. My Maestro is my grandfather Pascual, who first taught Fernando, then me, and now Fernando and I as a married couple. At the moment I have a lot of practice in Medicine to heal the needy, help relatives and friends. Our Family shares knowledge with those who come to us with an open heart".

" I was born in the village Nueva Libertador in Peru. It is the community located on the left bank of Ucayali river. Now I live and work in the village. I work with the sacred plants, cooking the brew of ayahuasca and also do special herbal and floral baths for our guests. I can see what needs to be healed. I can pick up special plants or trees depending on it. I have worked with many cases, but normally we can heal many deceases only with the jungle plants and ceremonies. For some cases it is recommended to have a special spiritul diet Sama.

I help people to get healed and our family helps our community. I am very grateful for that opportunity to work for people, for their health and well-being".

" I am a grandfather of Delsy Rodrigez. I was born in a little village and live here for than 30 years. I decided to be curandero, when I was 15 years old. It came to me as dream. I always have been into healing the others, singing the ikaros, learning from the Mother Ayahuasca. My maestro is Pascual Mahua Ochavano. All my life I have been practicing the healing with the ayahuasca, doing the ceremonies, and also I have done many diets with the sacred plants.

I traveled a lot, I’ve always loved to learn. I was a disciple also by maestro Manuel Mahua and maestro Luis Carlos. But my the most important teacher is the Tree of life Noya Rao. Noya Rao gives me power to heal and all knowledge that I have. This is what I live for, to cure people and to teach them the knowledge of the sacred medicine".
