    Trustful shamans (Maestros)
We work in the ancient traditions of healing in the places where the tradition was born.

Shamanistic lines have been preserved that have passed on the knowledge of working with plants from generation to generation.

When choosing the shaman with whom we work, we are guided by the following principles:

    ● The shaman belongs to a well-known family and received knowledge from his family. Usually, the knowledge of working with plants is passed down in the family, from the older generation to the younger. If there is a shaman in the family, then he passes on his knowledge further, as a rule, to one of his children.

    ● The shaman has been working with master plants since childhood. Sacred plants are a very complex and effective tools - and we work only with those shamans who have been trained to work with plants since childhood.

    ● The shaman has the opportunity to work individually with each of the participants. It is important for us that at the time of the retreat, the shaman is not too busy and thus has the opportunity to work individually.

    ● The shaman has an impeccable reputation.

    Unique format of work
Our retreats have a homely atmosphere. We arrive directly in the indigenous village to visit families. Usually, the guests live in guest tambos (jungle houses) located directly on the territory where the big family lives. As such, guests have the opportunity to communicate and receive the necessary treatment and consultations not only during the ceremony, but throughout their stay.

In addition, since we live with a family, the participants have a unique opportunity to see how the indigenous people live, experience their culture, and feel their attitude toward life.

    Personal work
All work is done with the help of an experienced facilitator. If you are not experienced with plant medicine, we don’t recommend to participate in any indigenous ceremonies without facilitators or go to the jungle alone. The consume of the sacred plants may be associated with risks, so you have to be prepared for this and to have an experienced facilitator to assist you in your process.

The facilitator helps during the ceremonies, and acts as an interpreter and guide. We do not carry out mass work - work is carried out individually.

Facilitator is a connector. We work only with facilitators who are ‘part of the family’, know the members and can introduce you to them. It creates perfect foundation of trust between you and family which is very beneficial for intimate work with the plant.

Facilitator is also who organize preparation and integration process, which both are extremely important when you work with the sacred plants. You communication with facilitator starts several weeks before retreat and continues for a few weeks or months after.

    Deep preparation for the ceremony
As a preparation for the journey, we conduct several online calls to clarify your intentions, as well as identify any diseases of the body and spirit that you intend to heal. We also offer a special online course in order to understand the tradition you are going to work win on a much deeper level.

During preparation process, we consult with the shamans before the retreat, so that he will have time to pick up all the plants necessary for a cure. We encourage you to specify these issues beforehand to give the family of shaman to prepare all treatment specially for your unique case.

So, not only you are the one who prepares for the ceremonies, but family and healers as well.

The deep personal work aimed at achieving the desired result begins on the day when you decide to go on a retreat with us and are accepted into the group.

    Post-Retreat Integration Work
After the retreat, you are faced with the task of integrating the experience from the journey and applying the realizations that you received. The period of integration may not be easy, as bringing to life what was received during the ceremonies requires some effort. We continue to engage and work with you during this period. It is also a common practice for us to take the necessary medicines with you after the retreat to work at home.

Our facilitators are the ones who assist you with your integration after the journey.

    Safety
Safety of our guests are at utmost importance for us.

Normally all buildings in the Amazon villages where we are going to are located on special wooden elevations, which protect residents from various reptiles, including snakes, lizards and insects. All beds are equipped with special mosquito nets, and all windows and sometimes walls are also upholstered with mosquito nets. SEE MATERIALS

The villages we travel to themselves are very peaceful. You can walk along it, the locals are very friendly and will gladly invite you to their place, give you tea and show you their homes. Meanwhile, in order to avoid unpleasant situations, we recommend not to carry large sums of money with you in the village. Before the arrival you will be instructed on the safety rules.

Also we are very cautious about health issues in our journeys. We are not in position to recommend to do or not to do vaccines, however you will receive all information about possible vaccination depending on the region you are going to.

Anti-exploitative approach to the native community
We are an indigineous-centered healing project. Our goals are to support the indigenous communities and their beautiful traditions, and do our best to save these Sacred Places. We never approach our healers as ‘employees’, nor our participants as their ‘clients’. Instead, we see the shamans as teachers, who, even without formal Western education, carry the knowledge of the ancient traditions of healing. We are guests who come to their house, and they are hospitable hosts. Our journeys may be the beginning of a great friendship - between the healers and their families and you.

Sometimes what prevents us from achieving one goal leads to another goal. To a new life that we never dreamt of starting. And then we look back - and here it is, our new reality. It is full of tasks, external problems - but this is our dream.
