Every journey changes something in us. When it comes to journey to the Amazon, this is not just change, this is transformation.
We believe that to feel the transformative power of the Amazon, we do not need to go to ‘spiritual retreat’. We do not need to hide ourselves from the actual experience of healing and learning behind the walls of the retreat centres. We can go deep, safely accompanying by the guide.
Our ceremonies have family atmosphere, sometimes the ceremony is a whole family gathering. When they need this, people from the village also come to the ceremonies to get healed.
Ayahuasca is a potent medicine, and it is only one element in the whole mandala of rich jungle medicine tradition. The healers sincerely want to help their guests and to cure them, so they provide us with additional plant medicine treatment based on what they have heard from us and what they have seen during the ceremonies. The healers use many tools, they do shamanic massages, using different plants to facilitate the process of healing.
Another reason why we love to actually go to the indigenous places is the unique culture, and the sacred plants are integral part of it. If we want to be transformed, we have to deep dive into understanding what the sacred plants are. We have to feel the culture and be part of it. You cannot create the culture artificially, from the scratch. Culture has to naturally emerge in the places where people actually live.
And of course… we travel to the deep jungle together with the guide who tells us the story of the magical plants growing there, spotting the birds and animals.
